HOW TO TRANSFER CREDIT ON MTN
To transfer 'credit' airtime on MTN Nigeria you use Share n sell.
The share n sell service can be used by MTN customers to MTN customers.
ie. You cannot use Share n sell to transfer airtime to another network.
Before you start sharing airtime, you have to select a PIN for the share n sell service. you can do so by sending an SMS with default PIN New PIN New PIN to 777.
eg. send an SMS with 0000 1234 1234 to 777.
To send airtime, send an SMS with Transfer, Recipient's Number, Amount and PIN to 777.
Eg. Transfer 08010517563 100 1234 to 777. Upon sending this message, you will receive an SMS asking you to confirm that you want to make the transfer by sending an SMS with 'YES' to 777
You can also transfer credit from your phone to another MTN customer's phone by dialing; *600*Recipients Number*Amount*PIN# on your phone and then click on send
Eg. dial *600*08010517563*100*1234# and then send. When the transfer has been completed, you will receive a message informing you that the transfer was successful and the recipient will receive an SMS informing them of received airtime.
